Thought is movement within memory. A psychological phenomenon programmed into every human being over at least 12 years of mandated enforced memory based schooling. This repetitive pattern of 'education' we are all forced to participate within over so many of our young tentative years, becomes the framework for our adult thinking brains. Thought, is movement in memory. Memory is the past, recorded information from past experiences. The movement of memory within the brain cells is what creates our human consciousness, our thinking mind. Our thinking mind is therefore an adaptation, a reconfiguring of how we, as human beings, might have grown and developed, had we not been encouraged and enforced to enslave our lives to this psychological patterned societal brainwashed approach to life. We are in a dreadful situation. This inner mechanism we rely upon, to guide our life judgments and activities, is this inner movement of programmed thinking, and so few of us indeed have very little authentic understanding of how thinking works, in any way at all. We have accepted vague statements, vague ideologies about our lives and minds, divisive and contradicting each other, dependent on the geographical location we are born into and live our lives within. We live under the weight of a great many unquestioned and totally false assumptions about our lives, about religion - about what we are and what our life truly is. We never question a thing, we accept the utterances of apparently learned others, 'experts' so called, and so we become incompetent to manage our own lives. We live under the shadow of self proclaimed 'experts'. This reliance on others for guidance is also a classroom conditioned phenomenon, limiting to life. Being led for all school years by an 'expert', an all knowing figure of an ever present teacher, nicely programs every human being, to seeking a leader in life, and to feeling unjustified and incompetent to find one's own understanding and one's own intelligent action in life. We become second hand human beings and a dearth of experts of every field darken our lives from birth to death. We are told what to do, what to believe, what to think, what is right and what wrong, what is good and what bad, and the information we are given, once more, differs, so conflicts between us, which, when you stop to think about it, is such a ludicrous situation for us to be in. We fight and kill each other, not over any truth we protect, found out for ourselves concerning our own lives, our own intelligence and our understanding of our lives - we fight and war and kill each other over second hand information we have never taken the time ourselves to ever question or come to understand the relevance of in our lives (or not). Our thinking, which arises from our past experiences, limited in nature, as experience always must be, limited to knowledge, and knowledge is always limited, for no one has experienced everything, is our educated authority over our lives. The psychological inward precursor to every single action we participate in in life. Thought, arising from limited knowledge, operates in the darkness of monumental ignorance. It must do, for thought is ever ignorant of the knowledge it has not acquired, from all the experiences a human being has never lived through. In short, acting in ignorance, as we all do, because we all act from thinking, is to act from the outset in close to total darkness. We think we understand how we must act, but our thinking contains only a tiny fragment of all the total potential information which may be available. Acting this way, is what brings multiple problems repetitively to our lives. This is the area of our lives responsible for all of conflict. And we are drowning in conflict because we are drowning in thought. We have always lived this way, valuing knowledge, placing thought on a pedestal unqualified to sit upon, a tyrant on a throne - and bringing over and over again, over thousands of years, conflict and immense suffering which has darkened our days from the beginning of time. Is there no other way to live? This programmed psychological approach to life, is a corruption. It is the true foundation of all other corruptions we meet, personally, socially and globally. Knowledge, thinking, becomes an authority by which we live and trust to our lives to find a sense of completion. Knowledge is ever restlessly looking to become more than it is, and so continuity and growth over time become most important. And the present moment we all live in, is laid to waste. Knowledge is ever partial, grounded as it is, on past recorded limited experiences from which thought arises psychologically. We will never solve any of our problems through the activity of thinking, for thinking, divisive in nature, authoritarian and divisive in approach, based on the past, conflicted within and between us, is the very movement which has given birth to every single problem we ever have come to face in life.
