We are born to live a free life, but we are denied the promise life holds. Society has other ideas. Every one of us passed through at least twelve years of mandated conformity to a system named 'education', but which was more concerned with imprinting on the brain cells of every child a traditional patterned approach to life of living in memory and finding security on a conceptual psychological ground of words and images. Of course, this is human adult consciousness, more a societally enforced distortion of natural order than anything arising from actual natural order.
Thought is memory, memory is the past and the past is divisive between us all, because no one on this planet shares the very same past experiences.
Our lives have divided as we seek security in continuity of this past remembered, which sees us living in an artificially conceived movement of time, caught inwardly between images and opinions, concepts and beliefs, desires and fears, arising from remembered past information and a projected conceptual future, which is the continuity of the same past towards a future 'betterment'. This is both the inner human consciousness we identify with, the conceptual tool of intellect we use to guide and come to every life decision and the biggest limitation to our lives we will ever meet.
This inner psychological educated construct is the ground of every single conflict which arises between human beings.
The structure of our human consciousness is the very same for each one of us, what differs between us is the content of thinking, which arises from our differing past remembered experiences, and the divisive futures we aim for seeking success and completion in life, which is a continuity of these same divisive pasts. Human beings are lost to the true meaning of the word freedom. In the past we related this word to the superficial activity of being able to do what one wants to do in life. But freedom is not this. Freedom is a state well understood by every young child, prior to entering the brainwashing arena of modern day 'education'. Prior to learning the repetitive action of living within human memory, which is the movement of thinking. Educated into all during at least twelve years of enforced and mandated memorisation.
We now live within a conceptual psychological arrangement of continuously talking 'self', founded from past remembered experiences, finding purpose in continuity seeking growth into a conceptual future. The human brain has been societally programmed to this. The human brain is constantly occupied, constantly involved in thinking. Problem carrying, fear ridden, desirous, pleasure seeking, never a moment, day or night, is the adult human brain free of this incessant replay of inner memories and time.
This is the root inner movement which denies our freedom in life.
Freedom, is a state of non occupation.
An occupied mind, is not a free mind. Greatly unrecognised, but of the utmost importance to our race, is to come upon freedom, for only a free mind is capable of building a free world. The complex, completely corrupted, authoritarian, dogmatic, insensitive, uncaring, unloving and unfair world we live in this day, a world focussed more on self interest than on the quality of life of our people, has been built from the inner consciousness of humanity. Our society, is a mirror reflection of our inner psychological states, for every action each of us takes in life, is preceded by a movement of thinking.
And so, if we desire to build a good world, which we so desperately need, if we desire a sane world, a free world, a loving and caring and understanding world, we must bring to a complete revolution the inner workings of the mind which has built this abysmal affair we all live within this day.
We must come to free the human mind.
We must come to understand what it means to live life as it is, without inner constant occupation. Positive action is nothing other than counterproductive in this area, because all positive action aiming for change, is to engage once more within occupation, and occupation, is the denial of freedom.
Can the human brain be silent? Can the human mind stop talking?
Can a human life be free of the constraints placed upon it by societal brainwashing and conditioning? On the actual answering of these questions, or not, lies the future potential for a continuity of life for our species. If we cannot, or do not bring this complex inner societal matrix of words and images and time to an end, and find the right and appropriate and intelligent place in life for memory, then our race can never survive itself. The conflicts which arise between us are all born in the divisions which exist in the differences which are held in what we think.
Listen inwardly. Come to an understanding of what you are listening to, come to silence in the understanding of this inner talking mechanism. Understand the meaning of the word freedom in your life, and be the very change this world needs to see.
