finding the meaning in lifeWhere might one find the meaning in life? Our societies, from the earliest of school days, have pushed into our brains that the meaning of life, is to achieve. Or to believe in what we have been told. To follow authority and compete against each other. To become a success. And the vast majority of us have accepted this as an authentic approach to life. What if they got it wrong? Let’s question a little. What is involved in becoming? A lot more than first appears to be the case. In becoming, I am living for the glory of a future projected state. In becoming, my life energies are centred on my own life predominately, and perhaps aligned towards the lives of those closest to me. In becoming, in achievement, I must live my life on a train track of continual progression, a psychological movement building upon, and growing the same movement, into a conceptual future. My life, becomes limited, to a narrow groove. What are the implications of living life within this educated and long standing traditionally fashioned approach? In living for the arrival of future conquests, my relationship to this present moment dims. I become predominately focussed inwardly, in the world of concentrated repetitive human consciousness, for here, is the ground of all conceptual life, words and images and the future, is an image, the only true time to life, is found in this present moment. I become self-interested to the extreme in nature, my life becomes centred around an inner feeling of what I am, on inner words and images, which is of the same quality of that which I carry from the past, and that which I ever continue, seeking to grow, into my conceptual future. I lose relationship to others, for relationship is only found here and now, the aiming towards a future is an isolated and solitary journey, one we have all been brainwashed to unquestioningly participate within, and one which out of necessity, denies our ability to come together in relationship in this present moment, the ground of all universal creation, and the only true time which ever has existed. Is there an alternative? You bet! And the moving away from this conceptual conditioned scholastically educated approach to life, may be nothing other than the very salvation of our race. Being, is the alternative to becoming, but for a state of 'being' to come into being, the state of becoming, necessarily, must come to an end. Being, is living now, in this present moment, uncaring for the concept of a future. In being, we meet each other, and this is the joy and ecstasy of actual relationship. In being, we come to meet the sacred quality of life, for all life is found here and now, the living quality of this universe, does not live within the conceptual time of a self-projected future, neither does it exist in the dead remembered past that future is conceived from, in the educated process of 'becoming'. Seeking success, is the death of all which is true to life. How does one move from the current brainwashed and destructive psychological state of mankind to one of living in harmony with each other, in harmony with nature and in harmony with the loving beauty of the sacred quality of this universe? One must come to completely understand, and negate the inner psychological prison cell our society has placed our minds within by virtue of twelve years of mandated memorising, seeking the top position in a class in competition against our peers, under the watchful eye of an authority figure in a teacher. The root of this problem is within, there is little point to attempt to change our outer world this day, of such magnificent transparent sickness, blindness and corruption. One must look within, to begin any change worthwhile, for the inner movements of human consciousness are the movements which precede every human action. One must change at the root, for any lasting and meaningful effect. And when we look within, we find a world as conflicted and confused as the world without. A duality is required for all conflict, a conflict requires two oppositional energies, what are these energies which bring human consciousness to conflict, within each member of our race inwardly, and externally, between opposing members? The root of all of our conflicts, inner and outer, may be found in the psychological division, between the movement of thinking and the educated psychological unquestioned movement of a conceptual observer to the thinking mind. Thought is fleeting, but the programming nature of what passed as 'education' in all our lives, has created a feeling of a permanent entity within thought, an observer to thought, a thinker of thoughts, identified to and by the given birth name. This is totally illusory in actual nature, but please, do not take my word for a single thing. Watch your inner world and establish for yourself if what I am saying is true or false. A miracle may happen if you can do this. But be warned, one needs a certain tenacity to come to any understanding of one’s own conceptual inner world, the inner consciousness of humanity is a divided and conflicted place, and so one can expect this journey to be somewhat arduous. But if your heart holds the breath of a true pioneer in this life, more than the sheep like nature of so many followers, then you will, through your own endeavours, come to find the truth or falseness of what is being stated here. Whatever the case, matters not one iota, for you will, summoning your energy, climbing your own mountain, come to an understanding of what you are. The words here are mere pointers, of the nature of a street sign, many signs in life can point in a wrong direction, and so one must test the words, never accepting a thing. And when, perhaps after some difficulty, for not all paths facilitate easy walking, you come to the top of the mountain you have climbed, here you can take in the actual view, and at this point, you can verify if the signpost you followed was pointing in the direction it stated or not. Whatever the case, at this moment in time, it is rather irrelevant, for you will have come to an understanding of your own complex human consciousness. And in doing so you will have come to an understanding of your life. And the street sign you have followed, will at this point seem to have so little value. Our human educated divisive minds build this world and we are non-understanding of our minds, as we are non-understanding of the complex world around us, which human consciousness has been responsible for building. A change, is so obviously needs in our outer world and societies, a change which is only possible if that which built them, which is human thought, itself undergoes a change. That change, is complete understanding of what we are. From here, actions of understanding will obviously follow, leading to a world of understanding, and you, will have been responsible for the dawning of a new age for mankind. Or the existence of mankind will come to an end, victim of his own lack of understanding of his own inner nature.

a truly religious mindDo you suffer from inner psychological conflict, hurt, fear, depression or anxiety you can’t shake off? This little text may help you. If you have the ability to listen. To listen, demands silence on your part, you are not listening, if you are chattering inside, if your attention is divided between what is being said and some other thing you are thinking about, whatever that thing may be, then you are not truly listening, and you need to truly listen to receive. Think of a time in your past when you have fallen out or come to conflict with someone in your life, in your external world. This is an occurrence which has surely happened to us all at some point in time, perhaps even recently. You carried the outer conflict over in memory within inner thoughts and images, did you not? The human brain engages in such activity because we have all been deeply conditioned during educational brainwashing years, to accumulate memory. This is the repetitive central structure of the abysmal education we all received, gathering memories of useless information for at least twelve of our tentative years as our young brains were developing. The brain continues this process following so many years of enforced conforming activities. Let’s go back to the conflict, and the memory of it you carried, or perhaps still carry. What happens or happened when you by chance meet the person you were or are in conflict with? Are you free to meet them? Or do you meet them with the memory of what had previously happened, (the conflict), arising as a wall within you, and preventing actual, present relationship? The latter, of course. In this way, we can see how we have, virtue of the brain rotting education of a corrupting society, dumbing us all down, been programmed to meet the present moment not as it is, but as we remember it to have been. And the remembrance of how it was, is stored within the brain cells, meaning, the past remembered is a part of what we are. We are living in and as the past, and this pointless societal structure of self-interested pursuit towards divisive success, which is the inner movement tearing our world to pieces this day, has been responsible. You are acting automatically, within the inner machinery of memories, as educated, (programmed) to, your life is held within this inner mechanical societally constructed prison cell. The same conditioned mechanism is responsible for any inward distress you may hold, regardless of the outer nature of presenting life. As the brain has been set in motion to record all, and to see the new through the eyes of the old, the exact same thing is happening when you view your own inner world and nature of thoughts, images and emotions. You look through the eyes of the accumulated past. This creates a division within the mind, and a division is the necessary ground from which all conflict arises. One does not conflict; it takes at least two. And so we find the root cause of every fear, worry depression, anxiety, hurt or sorrow which has ever psychologically befallen man. We were set up for this by a very sick society which passed its sickness onto and into our lives. How do we extricate ourselves form such learned insanity? First of all, there is no how. There is no method to follow or path to lead us to the destination of psychological freedom. Our brains are caught in between a scholastically mechanical division, an observer to the mind (the me, self or ego), and the observed of the minds, (other accumulated memories). We must come to a complete understanding of this mechanism. The division within the mind must come to an end, and so the mind now functioning within such concretely solidified artificial educated brainwashed division, must cease to act. This is a process of negation, not a process of moving positively towards a desired fixed state. The human brain is held in perpetual motion, a river of words, images and emotions, divisive between us, and so conflicting between us. Watch this inner movement of division, and so inner and outer conflicts of various kinds. Become very familiar with its flow. Who is watching? Is the observer of this inner movement different in nature to the observed? Are you different from what is being seen? In the actual perception of the true nature of this educated mind which this question is asking you to participate in, may lie the birth of true psychological freedom. And so the beginning of a new dawn, for the entirety of mankind. This is an extremely important topic, and not only for your own peace of mind, and quality of life, for your own meeting of relationship to life and others so long denied, since the corrupting hands of a corrupting so called education rooted your life into conflict and self-interest and conceptual time. This topic, if truly understood is the dawning of a new approach to life for mankind. It is this brainwashed inner divisive mechanical automatic and selfish inner educated psychological structure which is the root cause behind every conflict mankind has ever endured. It is this same movement involved this very day in the destruction of so many lives and our environment it feigns to be acting to protect. Destroying the lives of so many, in the name of building back better. If we truly want a good world, a world of relationship and care and harmony and peace and joy. If we want to live and die with a smile on our faces, then the mind we currently occupy, simply has to come to an end. It is incapable of building such a thing. A new mind need be born, to build a new world, and for a new mind to be born, the old one, must die. Unless a man be born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven, said a wise man many years ago. A man whose words have been corrupted out of all recognition. This is an arduous journey to take, the journey into the understanding of oneself, for 'oneself', in nature, as previously adequately described, is a divided arena, an inner world of conflicting images, words and emotions. A tumultuous place. Are you a true pioneer? Is your destiny to be on the frontline of the birth of a new kind existence for humanity? Something, never seen before? Then find the courage. Find the time. Find the dedication to this most important of all tasks. And look within. The first step of freedom is the last step. That step is to come upon the ability to look freely, at what you are. Without such ability, you will never see what you are, and without seeing what you are, how can you ever come to understand what you are? The first step is the last step, and that step is the finding of the ability to look from a position of freedom, freedom, is to be unoccupied in another direction. Including the direction, of trying to bring to your life freedom. You must find the ability to look from a position of silence. You must come to see that what is looking is the same in nature as what is being seen. Divided, the human brain certainly is in its daily functioning, although in its actual structural functioning nature, it remains one. Seeing this, the actual perception of this, not the carrying of words such as these and turning them into an inner concept from which you seek future revelation, is the immediate activity of perception which will free the programmed brain of humanity to a life and death within perpetual conflict, into the possibility of a new existence. Into the possibility of a life and death in freedom, relationship, love, peace and harmony. A life, where the lives of all are held in higher importance than the pointless accumulation of hundreds of billions of dollars. We are the problem we need to solve. Our enemy is within us. It is our inner societally corrupted approach to life of living in constant memory, divided from what we see, viewing and corrupting the living and creative present moment, the only source of all creation with our gathered accumulated memories of our limited pasts, which needs to change. Change demands an ending to what came before.
This day as every day, there is no higher calling in life than this. To meet the present moment free from the corrupting distorting divisive movements of our individual limited and so conflicting pasts, without walls of inner words and images and emotions distorting what we see out of all existence, is to find true relationship to all of life. To meet life from an inner ground of absolute silence, is to meet life with the whole of the mind. To meet life with the whole of the mind, is to meet life with a holy mind. And a holy mind is a truly religious mind. Not a mind of belief in a traditional religion, a truly religious mind. And religion, is the missing factor in our lives, true religion, is the missing factor in our lives, the only factor, which has potential to bring into being a good world. Like a phoenix from the ashes, the human mind of religion, is born out of the understanding and so the ending of the conflicted and divided mind which came before. We are the change this world needs to see, there is no other. |
AuthorHello to all, I am a 60 year old man who has spent the best part of his life studying the teachings of J.Krishnamurti. My name is Henryk. I am rather unimportant, although what I talk about on these pages, has great importance. Particularly today, in this dark world, led by men of infinite wealth, unfortunately without the intelligence to match. My work here stands on the shoulders of that of J.Krishnamurti. Without this man's passion and great life understanding, this website would never have existed. His effect on my own life has been immeasurable. A man of infinite vision and wisdom, who spent over 60 years of his life travelling the world and discussing life and societal problems. Krishnamurti passed away in the 1980s. Anyone interested in the nature of discussion in the content of this site, will likely find great interest in the work of Krishnamurti. Hundreds of videos may be found on YouTube. There is a link above dedicated to his work to which new content is planned to be regularly added. The beauty of truth in life, is that it is identical for each one of us. Truth is the place we all come to meet in unity. And truth belongs to no man. Only pointless opinions, divisive, traditional, educated into and gathered by us, may be claimed as ownership. The change in our world so desperately needed this day, is within us, not external to our lives. All man's actions begin in the area of human thinking, it is this needs understood and brought to revolution. Thanks for taking the time to visit, a few posts are being added to the site weekly at the moment, when I find time. If you would like to support the work here, you can do so from the price of a cup of coffee each month, contributors are invited to online discussions.
