Find us on Telegram: @rainwar A MIND WHICH HAS RETURNED TO THE GARDEN of edenThere was a man walking around here a couple of thousand years ago, when technology was much simpler, but the human mind, was exactly the same. This man spoke of a holy life. Such an impression did this one solitary life have on the rest of humanity that one of the largest and richest and landed of our organisations in our world today, the Catholic church, was founded and has flowered, in his memory. Of course, the message of Christ, if he truly lived, is unknown to us today. We can accept the dictates of the church, but the church is not the voice of Christ, and so we are listening to an interpretation, and lots, often gets lost in the interpretation. It is a well known fact the Bible has been repeatedly re-edited, to suit the needs of many an emperor and Pope. It is equally known the collation of the Scriptures of the Bible began in earnest two centuries following the death of Christ. It is not unreasonable to therefore question the validity of the message presented to us this day in it's authenticity to the now lost, spoken message of Christ. First off, I must openly state, I am not a Christian. I do not belong to any traditional religion. I see immense benefit in accepting no one, but rather in questioning everything, and being sceptical in nature, rather than an obedient follower. I could never be a member of any traditional religion, for I see in life enough to understand that to belong to one group of people seeking security in a traditional division among people, is to conflict against the beliefs of another group, and divisions cause incredible difficulties to our race, including conflict and war. Look to our history for verification. Is this what Christ wanted? It is the outcome of dividing your life from another behind a posture of belief. The Catholic church has a long history of the torturing and putting to death anyone who cared to question their religious assurances. Thankfully today, such days of such spiritual terrorism (at least outwardly), have all but passed and are beyond us, and one may now once again, openly question such religious dogmatic assertions. Being of a questioning nature, I have come to hear wisdom in many of the supposed teachings of Christ, but not so, it the operation of the Church, which has taken his name as a saviour. And in this post, I wish to discuss the question of - what is a holy life? What does the word “holy” even mean? The word holy, etymologically, is closely related to the word “whole” which is the same kind of word as 'complete'. A holy life, therefore, may be read, as being a ‘complete life’, a ‘whole life’, and this kind of makes sense, when you stop to think about it. Completion, is a nice place to be. To have no needs, to have no need for effort, for all to be done, and all to have been understood, A complete life. To have arrived, to have no need to be travelling further. Is this a whole life? And is a whole life, a holy life? Is a holy life, a complete life? Now, to make more sense of the picture I am painting here, the opposing state to holiness, would be incompleteness. It would be a state of not being complete. Things to do, things to achieve, nothing completely understood. Ever seeking more, ever seeking 'progress'. Incompletion. Un-holiness, not being whole. A need to build. A need to act. A need to find completion. How do these words and the deciphering of them we are presenting here, relate back to our real lives? Do they? Is there anything here to see, question, and perhaps come to understand? Is there anything of truth to these words, or do they hold no meaning at all? The bible also tells us of the story of the Garden of Eden, a place where mankind was originally homed in the bliss of creation, in the very Garden of life. A living component of a living universe. The word ‘Universe’ etymologically means ‘one song’. A place where the serpent, convinced Adam and Eve, to eat the one forbidden fruit in the Garden. The offending item was found on a specific tree, a tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This was enough, to see mankind cast out of this heavenly place. Now, for this error, man, would know death, woman would suffer during childbirth, and humanity would be unable to ever find place to truly rest his head. Brother would turn against brother, and life was forever altered, downgraded to a state previously unknown, before eating this poisonous fruit. Knowledge of good and evil. Knowing, right and wrong. Our lives, are founded upon such knowledge. Our schools train and program our minds to living within knowledge, which is the movement of thinking you are so familiar with arising within every day and night of your life. Thought is memory, and memory is what we know, recorded from past life education and events. Thought, is knowledge, of right and wrong. Educated into us, from the age of young children, just as it was, in the time of Christ, just as we always have done. Knowledge is very important to to our society, our science is founded upon it. Our politics, our religious entertainments, our seeking of success. Our identification to nation and ideology and religion (or not) are the accepted handed down components of divisive knowledge which forms the background of our lives, and arises in our patterned habits of daily thinking. We live under the duress of an authority, everywhere in our lives, authority has its elevated status, founded on past knowledge. Even in what is named ‘religion’, which is the understanding of our lives and deaths, we come to find the acceptances of long standing divisive authorities. And so we never come to our own fist hand understanding of life. We live in the shadows of another's traditional assertions. Knowledge, is always in the past, whatever you know, has already past. You cannot know a living thing, it is changing constantly. You cannot know what has not yet arrived in life, if you do, then what you know, is a mere repetition in modified form of what has previously been. This, is the insanity of today's Great Reset. Seeking a change, by moving towards it from a background of knowledge, invalidating the very change sought, relegating the stated 'new' to the mundanity of a continuity, modified in form, to what came before. Is knowledge problematic to us? I’ll say. Knowledge divides us as people, it divides us within our own consciousness, and it divides us externally too, between other human beings. Knowledge also has the capacity to be truthful or untruthful. It is only after all, what is known. Date, stored in the brain cells, from which all thinking arises. Which may be true, or false. Let’s take an example. I live in Ireland, I am educated to be a Catholic, you, a Protestant. Born on the same land, the same people, now, our knowledge, educated into us, divides us, and brings our lives to hatred, violence and war. The identification and supplication to our religious concepts, has divided us. These educations are learned, knowledge based. We are seeking security in understanding what we are, and we are utilising knowledge told to us of what we are by another, and this knowledge is limited and divisive in nature, (there is always more to know) - and so divides our people. Humanity. So, knowledge is divisive, and perhaps the Bible is truly pointing out a very real life danger here, one we have failed to recognise in over two thousand years. We are trained to accept, when what we need do, is to question. Accepting leads us to no life understanding of our own, questioning is the operation to bring such blessing to fruition. And when we question the operation of knowledge educated into us to provide a life foundation of security, we see that in contradiction to the assured and stated aims, these religions divide our people and bring us to conflict. And the root of the conflict between us is the unquestioned knowledge of what we are, which is now what we have been educated to be, stored in our knowledge based memory brain cells. Our seeking security in the words of another, brings colossal insecurity to our world. Knowledge removed us from the garden of Eden, might removing knowledge as the guiding principle of our lives, see us back there once more? Or are we the eternally lost, divided race of people? An evolutionary mistake? There is another troubling issue with knowledge, it is never complete. Knowledge, is always limited and so never complete. Completion is found in understanding. Not in knowledge, which is ever partial, and may be related to truth, or far removed from it. Are we not interested in finding completion in our lives, which is to live life 'wholly', and so to live a holy life? Are following the words of others of more importance than this? It would certainly appear so. The reason knowledge is always partial is that knowledge is limited information stored in the brain from our past limited experiences. Trained to meet life through memory, which is to view life through knowledge as we have been, (which is thinking), we no longer possess any ability to meet the whole of life, without interpretation from past memories. We are led into divisive directions based on the knowledge we all carry within, which is always incomplete and divisive against the limited knowledge another holds. In this way we divide, and in divisions, we lose care and compassion for each other, become self-interested, and go happily off to war. This is how we have lived, in all recorded history, this is how we have lived. Knowledge continues to bar our lives from the Garden of Eden today, the very same as it did 2,000 years ago. Meeting the whole of life, gives us a complete perception of the whole of life, and so our minds and our lives become complete, become whole, and so meet true religion, a psychological revolution into ‘holiness’. The word ‘holy’ etymologically, has direct relationship to the word ‘whole’, or ‘complete’. Religion is not a belief. And if Christ ever did truly live, he would never have ever asked anyone to believe a single thing. Belief, following another, even to follow a God, does not allow for the flowering of one’s own understanding of life. Meeting life wholly, which can only ever be accomplished by meeting life with a silent mind, for knowledge, which is thinking, is ever noisy, is constantly chattering within us. This inner movement of knowledge distracts from our otherwise holistic view of life, which may be the gateway to our return to our lost garden of Eden. Can knowledge end? Can we put down our past? That which divides us? Can we look at life, now removed from the incessant talking of a restless mind full of its own limited and isolated knowledge, ever seeking completion? Can we find the completion of a mind no longer seeking it? Can we find the peace of a mind which has understood its previous societally life corrupted outlook of ever present knowledge? The mind of Christ, in such an example, is the potential mind of every man and every woman. A mind of silence, a mind of absolute unadulterated awareness of his place in life. A mind undistracted by an inner continuous chattering of knowledge. A mind free of constant thinking. A man who understood his life, and tried to point his understanding to others. Did Christ not say that no one could enter kingdom, other than through himself? The Church has turned this statement into a need to believe in Christ, which is a need to follow the church, rather than a need to investigate and come to find an internal spiritual revolution in your life. As Christ undoubtedly did. Or did he wander in the desert for forty days and nights, because he loved to watch sand? Again, the church has romanticised this period in Christ's life, claiming he entered the desert to 'face the devil', perhaps, that devil was inside him? Perhaps, that devil, was his divisive conditioned traditionally accepted inner nature? Perhaps, he faced this devil indeed, and came to put down his prior un-investigated conclusions, mere accepted dogmas and life traditions and education and all which fills all our minds daily and becomes an internal screen of words and images, from which we make divisive 'sense' of our world. That which divides us and leads us into conflict. Brother against brother. We call ourselves religious, in living such a brutally divisive life of acceptance to the traditional time based handed down words of another. We live on words. And we think attending a Church is to live a religious life. Perhaps Christ never sought a single follower? Perhaps his mission was an attempt to awaken others to the beauty of a life lived in completion, a holy life, which he himself had found? Knowledge, a movement in thinking, is the inner movement which divides us all, thinking, knowledge, based on competing frameworks of differently educated thought entrenched past experiences, handed down, generation, to generation. In this view, holiness, or completion, is only found with the cessation of that which is never complete, which is knowledge, (always more to know), and we return to our rightful home in a more heavenly place of a true understanding of life, when we cease to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. When we deny the unsteady ground of limited unquestioned knowledge we have been educated to stand on in life. These Biblical stories appear to be saying the very same thing in different words. Non understanding of the right place for knowledge, is destructive to the lives of humanity, and even removes us from our natural born place in life, from a life of potential great peace and harmony. Removes us from a first hand actual understanding of our lives, and our true place in this universe. Is mankind born to a life of eternal misery? It is miserable to live dividedly, and when we live on the accepted limited handed down traditional assurances of another, so called religious or otherwise, we bring divisions to our world, for we are all taught to believe in different things. And the thoughtless find security in living within such religious entertainment, which denies real security to life, by virtue of dividing humanity, and necessitating war and conflict. Knowledge is useful. And knowledge is so un-useful. Where knowledge is destructive is in the field of human relationship. Catholic against Protestant, Arab against Jew, Muslim against Hindu, and Christian. British, against European, and American, against the whole damned world. Knowledge of what we are, and what another is, is conceptual in nature, and always divisive between human beings. And we hold knowledge up as being the greatest liberator for mankind, it is no such thing. It is incredibly destructive, whenever knowledge enters the ring of human relationship. Knowledge, denies relationship. Because what I “know” and what you “know”, differs, and in this difference, we find division, and we come to conflict and we kill each other. And all of this, is unquestioned, handed down traditional information we find security living within, which denies the actual security potential for our entire world. Can we end knowledge where it is not needed? Can we stop looking at life through this constant inner talk, which are symbols and images and words, from our pasts, which is our inherited and educated knowledge? This, is what divides our lives on this wonderful planet. This is what prevents our ability to live together. This, is what removes our lives from all sense of living in harmony and completion. All questions, no answers, and this is as it must be, for the inner revolution of the consciousness of mankind we are discussing, if even true, if it is even possible, would surely require the understanding and coming to a true vision by the person instigating such an investigation?
Where do we go from here? Is our thinking the root of all which has gone wrong within our civilisation? Is this where we need look to bring a true and lasting revolution to our lives? Can you begin to question, to find out? No one can help. Christ was here two thousand years ago. Some expect a return, as predicted, personally I do not see this as a possibility, and even were it, it would have little consequence to your life, as little as the life of Christ has had to our lives of conflict these past two thousand years, since he was here. If you do not take up the challenge and come to an understanding of your own life for and by itself. Undoubtedly, the biblical figure of Christ presents a reflection of great wisdom, but what use is another man’s wisdom to your life, unless you come to find wisdom yourself? Repeating the words of a wise man is to live life as a second hand human being. The vision of Christ has transformed no one on this planet in two thousand years, and it never will, for it is our own vision we need to find. Not live on the words of another, no matter how erudite, no matter how wise. And our own vision is never found in the understanding of another, no matter how brilliantly their light may shine. Our own candle needs be lit. Our own vision of what is real and true in life, seen from the silent witness of a silent mind. Seeing this universe, in completion, undistracted by inner limited movements of educated divisive knowledge, arising in thought, arising from the past. A whole mind, and so a holy mind. A mind, which has put down its dependance on educated divisive, fragmentary and and so destructive knowledge. A mind, which has returned, to the garden of Eden.

AuthorHello to all, I am a 60 year old man who has spent the best part of his life studying the teachings of J.Krishnamurti. My name is Henryk. I am rather unimportant, although what I talk about on these pages, has great importance. Particularly today, in this dark world, led by men of infinite wealth, unfortunately without the intelligence to match. My work here stands on the shoulders of that of J.Krishnamurti. Without this man's passion and great life understanding, this website would never have existed. His effect on my own life has been immeasurable. A man of infinite vision and wisdom, who spent over 60 years of his life travelling the world and discussing life and societal problems. Krishnamurti passed away in the 1980s. Anyone interested in the nature of discussion in the content of this site, will likely find great interest in the work of Krishnamurti. Hundreds of videos may be found on YouTube. There is a link above dedicated to his work to which new content is planned to be regularly added. The beauty of truth in life, is that it is identical for each one of us. Truth is the place we all come to meet in unity. And truth belongs to no man. Only pointless opinions, divisive, traditional, educated into and gathered by us, may be claimed as ownership. The change in our world so desperately needed this day, is within us, not external to our lives. All man's actions begin in the area of human thinking, it is this needs understood and brought to revolution. Thanks for taking the time to visit, a few posts are being added to the site weekly at the moment, when I find time.
