is where we are not more important than where we are going? We call our societal movement 'progress'. We are progressive. Which means future looking. Which means constantly becoming more than we were. Becoming, in time. And we find value living this way. We have progressed from the club to the bow and arrow to the canon, to the machine gun to the jet fighter, to the atomic bomb. From one aspect, this is progress. To kill millions of people hundreds or thousands of years ago, took a concerted effort lasting years, even decades. This day, we can do so with the push of a single button in a single second. We have progressed so far. From another aspect, our progress has led us nowhere at all. We have never progressed beyond the barbaric act of killing other men, we have merely progressed in our ability to do so. Some might think this progress, looked at through such a lens, is nothing other than a regress. Oh, for the joy of returning to a world void of less advanced killing machines. The joy of rolling back the clock of progress. Better to face a wooden club, than a Nuclear explosion. Where are we going to? And why are we so fascinated with 'progress'? And why have we never managed to live together? And why do we have not one shred of understanding of our lives, other than that they are to ever 'progress'? Where is our progress leading us to? Our progress has led us recently into a Metaverse, into gain of function research to create more deadly little pathogens for mankind to more excruciatingly die from when an accident occurs, or God forbid, a maniac finds himself in a position of power. Our progress led us to the internet, to missiles and bombs and rockets and planes. To computers and televisions and washing machines and hairdryers. Our progress is responsible for so many wonders and for many ‘advances’, without which, our world would certainly be a lot safer. As well as many conveniences, which make our lives easier. Our progress has been a double edged sword. 'Progress' is deeply related to knowledge. Both, are a movement involving time. Progress demands a future to move into, and a past, to build upon. Without time, there could be no progress. Without the continuity of what came before, there could be no future. There could be no Metaverse without the internet, there could be no allopathic medicine without black oil. As we discover, our discoveries lead us into other areas, and we seek out these new wondrous spell binding understandings of life, ever seeking to reach – what exactly? Where are we going? Many a strange word has come out of the World Economic Forum these past few years. This is the central human hub, the brainchild of Sir Klaus Schwab, involving itself in the takeover of our prior system of governance by big money and capitalist industry, seeking to solidify itself in a controlling position over the lives of mankind, which has been happening silently for decades previously. These are the people most interested this day in the human traditional approach to life of 'progress'. They are progressing the entire world, into their vision of a 'Great Reset'. I thought, we had already had the war to end all wars? According to Schwab himself the pandemic which came along afforded a narrow window of opportunity to reset the world in his image of what he has affectionately named our 'fourth industrial revolution'. The 'New World Order', is another term. 'The New World Disorder', is more to the point. How can we move towards global order without ending the disorder we find everywhere in our unfortunate world this day? In the vision of the most progressively seeking of all of us, our billionaires, our political giants, our men of too much wealth, are seeking the solidification of the security they have found in numbers, into eternity, in a land of corresponding emptiness. King Charles sees this movement of a 'Great Reset' of so great import, he set it in motion a 'military stye campaign on a war like footing, costing trillions'. Our society is more designed to seek the continuity of what it considers 'progression' at any cost, than it is towards protecting and caring for the lives of us human beings. Why? I never heard a powerful man before talking of spending so much to look after humanity. The endless drive is given, only to 'progress' which one may call a 'reset', but on closer look, is only a modified continuity of what came before. Stories abound, the ‘internet of things’ is apparently to see mankind himself, placed on the internet. A merger of man and machine has been forecast, the name given is ‘trans-humanism’. New rights for gay and transgender people have been brought into being around our globe simultaneously at the same time. Not that gay people and those confused over their gender identity should not have rights, but in a world where a child dies every five seconds from starvation, six million of our little ones a year, of our species, one comes to wonder why the rights of transgender people to parade themselves semi naked on our streets, has superseded the right of poverty stricken starving children to eat. This is 'progress', - apparently. How many of us understand the psychological movement behind our progress? Progress is a pursuit of knowledge. Knowledge acquired in the past, seeks the building upon itself today, in an inventive manner, to create something different, in a perceived future. How many things does our society benefit from this day, by virtue of the invention of the wheel? The man, (or woman), who invented the wheel, could have had no idea of the cars, planes, trains, the revolutions in every areas of transportation, to name a fraction of the benefits brought to our race, from this one thing following continuous progressive movement of only this one invention. Knowledge is always seeking completion. Knowledge, which is the driving force of our progress, is always seeking to add to itself, in a state of constant movement forwards, carrying learned information from the past, which is built upon continuously, ever seeking more. Never complete, for there is always more to know. Knowledge has a fatal flaw which greatly impacts our lives. Knowledge can never be complete. Knowledge potential is never ending, there is always more to know. Always more to discover. Knowledge, is what is known. And what is known, belongs to the past. We may project that past knowledge into a future, a continuity of what we came before, but knowledge, being the known, is always old. You can only know something past, and so something which is now dead and over. You cannot know a living thing, a living thing is moving constantly, changing. You can only know the past, and our future is also known, because we project our future from the past. We have lost relationship to the new. Ever wonder why we are always involved in constant progressive change, yet our society, our lives, our nature, our psychological condition, itself, never changes? Our society has the same pattern of insane functionality as did the ancient Romans, the Greeks and the Egyptians. Humanity warred in those days, and humanity wars this day. Those ancient societies, the fore bearers to our current civilisations, warred between each other, each seeking aggressive domination over the lives of other human beings, each society living dividedly, tribally, each seeking their divisive from of 'progress'. We are caught this day in the same divisive psychological destructive pattern. Seeking to travel in time, and to be the dominating factor in our ancient world, as others are still doing this very day. Where has the progress been? In the weapons we slay each other’s children with, we find great change, greater ability, in the desire to kill each other’s children, nothing has changed. Can we really call this 'progressive'? I can think of many other adjectives more accurate to the end result. Our knowledge is held in our thinking. The two, are identical. Thought is movement within remembered knowledge. A patterned accepted approach to life educated into us all during many mandatory school years spent continually memorising. The knowledge which continues this monstrous divided barbaric civilisation on its knees hobbling forwards ever towards its progressive future, 'progress', is the patterned educated movement of the thinking minds of divided humanity. We seek to change all, we never question if that which is commanding the progressive change, our limited thinking arising from our limited knowledge, and so always acting in great ignorance, repetitively so dangerous and destructive to the lives of so many of us, itself may be party to change. That which sees to change, is that in most need of change. Can mankind change? Can you change? This is the very same question. Can you change from being self-interested and placing your life above the value of another? Self-interest, is also held in the area of knowledge, for this is a movement educated into us as children, and which few of us ever manage to extricate our mental processes from within. Self-interest manifests in the movements of an inner 'self', the human 'ego', the inner constantly chattering conceptual self, of human consciousness. Which are the movements of an individual’s traditional and educated-into approach to life. The same movement of seeking progress is to be found here, in our very inner psychological nature, as it is to be found outwardly in our society. Our thinking, is the birthplace of our society. Our thinking needs change, before we try to change our society. We can perhaps come to understand that our progress is a great illusion, we are, in truth not progressing anywhere at all, we are travelling in an ever widening circle, we are becoming more adept at repeating the same movements over and over and over again. We can never bring anything truly new into being, nothing which truly revolutionises our lives, because our driving energy towards our future 'progress' is the continuity of knowledge gathered form the past and modified into a projected conceptual future. So, nothing new ever. Modified continuity of what has previously been, which we call the new. Rather than inventing a bomb which could blow our planet out of all existence, would it not be rather more 'progressive' to understand how we might come to stop killing each other? Rather than seeking a better future to live within, would it not perhaps be more progressive, to remove our eyes from all considerations for the future, and cast them upon this very day? The problem with our progressive movement in time, is that it divides us all, we are all progressing in different directions, because we all have experienced different pasts. And in our divisions, we lose relationship, and so we lose care for each other. We only care about our own progress. Our society is drunk on this insanity. Each of us has experienced a different past, and so the future we seek to build upon, (we can only build from our past), is different for each one of us. Living in constant pursuit of progress, is guaranteed to inevitably end our race. Or at the very least, to destroy what we have built over and over again. This is our past, this is our present, and this will be our future, unless we can bring true change to ourselves. To what we are, not to what we do, or what we invent. Unless we can look and revolutionise this inner movement of knowledge, ever seeking to find security by building into a conceptual future in a constant approach to life of contiguous never ending progress. You are living as knowledge. Thought, is human knowledge. Knowledge is what we know. And what we know, has mostly been told to us by another at a young age, before we were too young to even question. This is why we live so destructively; we have no first hand understanding of our lives. We are loose canons. We have nothing we have found for ourselves in life. We live on the accepted words of others. We follow patterns laid down by society, for the benefit of the traditional hierarchy which populated our world before we arrived. And so nothing ever changes. Christianity has been here over 2,000 years. Buddhism, over 2,500. Hinduism, over 10,000. The monarchy of Britain has been in privileged position lording over the lives of others for over a thousand years. We value continuity, and this quirk is related to our constant drive to progress, for to progress, is to continue what came before. And yet, if we merely keep pursuing the continuity of what came before, which is progress, have we ever progressed at all? That which continues, breaks down, becomes sick and dies. This is universal law. How can our society, (or our lives), which are mirror reflections of each other, ever come to a true revolution, which is so desperately needed, to truly impact the lives of mankind in a beneficial manner, if we are all enslaved to continuing the way we have always done things, at the altar of 'progress' which sees us necessarily forever continuing our life approaches of the past, which communally bring us to war? There is little of value to our race in progress. As we progress more and more, our lives become more and more disorderly, have you not noticed? Our lives are lived more comfortably, and more out of relationship with each other. We are living longer, sicker lives. We are more entertained, and less happy. Might we put down our progress and come to revolution? Not a bloody revolution involving the deaths of millions or even billions of us, this has been part of the nature of our historical 'progress'. Because we each seek to progress in a different direction. We would not divide is such a way, if we had no concept of progress. We are continuing this movement this day. This, is the Great Reset. Our latest 'progressive' movement, removing our eyes from what they must see to accurately meet and change our lives on the only time real to ever find them living within, this very moment. A revolution, in what we are. A revolution, in how we live. A revolution, in how we treat one another. A change, at the very inner thinking knowledge based movement of our human consciousness. A change, in what is leading us into all this divisive and dangerous 'progress'. Perhaps, this is the only 'Great Reset' which will ever carry lasting and meaningful meaning for humanity. Perhaps, this is the only change we need to come to see. A change, in what we are. To end our progress. To come into a vision of 'now', complete in this present moment, going nowhere, living not for a future conceived, but for this present moment, in this life and in this universe it came from. Not seeking to change it into anything 'better'. Freed from moving ever enslaved into a projected conceptual future. To lose our feeling of inner incompletion arising from our lack of completion, for what can ever be complete, when there is always more to know? A life of constant accumulation never finds a sense of completion, found in only an arrival, at the end of a journey. 'More' and 'progress' are destinations never reached. We can surely live differently than this mind rot. By arriving now, by getting off the train of incessant 'progress' and ceasing to move forwards this day one inch, until life shows us the direction. Until we meet life with a silent, and so peaceful mind, lacking every inner murmuring of progressive seeking thoughts, we will never be free. For this inner movement is the movement of seeking greater completion in time. Educated into us all as children during twelve brutal years of continuous memorisation. The past is not fit to lead into the future. Our memories are not an adequate guide to our life directions. And yet, this is how we are living. Our very approach to life, is the destructive principle which has never left our sides. The present moment reveals the appropriate responsible action needed. Self-interest, denies appropriate and responsible action. Self-interest is found on knowledge gathered from the past, seeking to progress into a conceptual future. In meeting the world as it is, and relating to it as it is, not as I think it should be. By building homes where they are needed, by providing food where it is needed, by bringing interest to what is real and true in life, and not that which I so selfishly long for in my insistence that my life be lived as a mundane continuity of my solitary life experiences which came before. A continuity of divided people, each seeking their life security in battle against and in competition against every other. A continuity of a historical movement of division, self-interest and never ending wars between our people, (humanity), ever seeking security in divisions, where it can never be found, ever imagining that where we are going, could ever have been more important than where we are.

AuthorHello to all, I am a 60 year old man who has spent the best part of his life studying the teachings of J.Krishnamurti. My name is Henryk. I am rather unimportant, although what I talk about on these pages, has great importance. Particularly today, in this dark world, led by men of infinite wealth, unfortunately without the intelligence to match. My work here stands on the shoulders of that of J.Krishnamurti. Without this man's passion and great life understanding, this website would never have existed. His effect on my own life has been immeasurable. A man of infinite vision and wisdom, who spent over 60 years of his life travelling the world and discussing life and societal problems. Krishnamurti passed away in the 1980s. Anyone interested in the nature of discussion in the content of this site, will likely find great interest in the work of Krishnamurti. Hundreds of videos may be found on YouTube. There is a link above dedicated to his work to which new content is planned to be regularly added. The beauty of truth in life, is that it is identical for each one of us. Truth is the place we all come to meet in unity. And truth belongs to no man. Only pointless opinions, divisive, traditional, educated into and gathered by us, may be claimed as ownership. The change in our world so desperately needed this day, is within us, not external to our lives. All man's actions begin in the area of human thinking, it is this needs understood and brought to revolution. Thanks for taking the time to visit, a few posts are being added to the site weekly at the moment, when I find time.
