magic money trees prefer the smell of death
How is life lived well?
How does one come to live a life of meaning, of value, and of great simplicity? I think these are important questions to ask this day, in this overly complicated world, pulled to the left and right, pulled in the conflicted direction of every man’s divisive thinking and subsequent desires.
How is life lived well?
How do we meet life?
It is strange indeed that we are educated to study meaningless subjects totally unrelated to life during our many school years, and yet we are never educated in the art of meeting life well.
Our education sets our brains up to a meeting of life through a veil of memories, which is thinking. Which is the past. And so our view of life, born into crystal clear vision, becomes distorted, isolated, divisive and prejudiced.
Prejudiced, to our past remembered experiences. Held in our thinking.
This is a short description of how we live, post education, of how our brains have been conditioned by continuous repetition during tentative years, to always live within memory.
Thinking, is movement within memory.
Limited, to past experiences, stored as knowledge in the brain cells. It is this limitation to the content of our thinking, limited to what we remember from past experiences, which is the dividing factor to all our lives. No one has the same past experiences, and so the content of all our thinking differs, and this difference brings division to our lives. And divisions, bring conflicts and wars.
A man born to be a King, has pitiful little understanding of anything of a more ‘normal’ life. A man born to a ‘normal’ life, has pitiful little understanding of the life of a man born to be King.
The structure and the working of our inner psychological natures is identical, a repetitive automatic movement of memories, (try to stop it), this is the remembered past, recorded information held within the human psyche, which comes to divide us all, and in every division, we find the potential for every conflict we endure. Psychologically, as well as between other people. We are one people, we are humanity, our brains all function in the same way, living in an educated approach to life of finding security in the continuity and growth of memories.
What divides us is the content of memories based on past limited experiences, our thinking.
Is thinking an adequate guide and leader of our lives?
Thought is memory. I can prove this quickly, by asking you to picture the faces of my closest neighbours. Unless you have in some way seen them, of course, you are entirely incapable of conjuring up such imagery. Meet them, even for a few seconds, you hold the recorded information in your memory, linked to past experiences, to complete the task successfully.
Memory is thought, and memory is always limited to past experiences, which differ between us all.
Now, couple this understanding with the fact that each of us has been scholastically programmed to course our lives from our inner incessant activity of thinking, which differs between us all, and we are perhaps beginning to understand why our society is so very sick indeed. And why we have always been unable to find peace in our permanently conflicted world.
Thought is not the mechanism which need be leading our lives, unless all we cease to do is to continually move forwards into a repetitive and limited life.
And live in a world forever at war.
Our world, and so our lives, are caught in a deadly repetition. A repetition of divisive living, based on the continuity of our past remembered experiences, into a future, this is where we come to divide.
A repetition of no relationship between our divided people, a repetition of ever seeking domination over others, a repetition of war. Look back into the past, for verification this is fact. Look to the present, to understand we have not changed, in all these thousands of years.
Evolution, is dead, to the human psyche.
Six thousand wars on this planet in the last six thousand years.
The next six thousand years, were a man insane enough to even imagine our race capable of surviving so long, divided and conflicted as we are, will be the very same as the past six thousand.
We are incapable of living at peace, because our calculated thought out approach to our lives, (through memories), through past recordings which separate us as people, is what divides us, and in our divisions, we repetitively come to kill each other. War is so ingrained into our system, that during our limited periods of global ‘peace’, we spend unfathomable amounts, in continuously preparing for future wars.
We have no magic money trees, to keep our poorest of children alive, somehow the magic money trees of this thought driven, and so divisive world, always prefer the smell of death.
Is thought our only approach to life? Is thinking the human psychological mechanism responsible for leading our lives intelligently?
It cannot be.
Because, for reasons already explained, thought is limited and so divisive between us. Just take a look at this world. This world, built from the foundation of divisive human thinking.
What does the word perception mean to you?
To see, to hear, to relate to this universe with senses fully awakened?
What does it mean to perceive? Is perception not a quality of directly ascertaining the universe and world in front of our eyes, clear of any distortion? Can I perceive anything, if I see it through a distorted lens?
Is our thinking, remembered information from the past, not exactly such a distortion, which removes any ability to perceive clearly?
Let’s take an example. Watch your own life, you will find many others. I argue with my friend. A thinking mind records and seizes on the hurt which such a conflict in relationship carries into my life. I view the offending event over and over again, replaying internally, building an image. Images and words, the recorded memory of what happened previously, continuously replayed and remembered in consciousness. What happens the next time I meet my friend? This inner recording is what comes to view him. I am no longer free to perceive my friend, the memory of the offending event is now colouring and distorting my view.
And so relationship between us has died, for relationship means to meet at the same place and time, not to view such meeting behind projected distorting images.
If you see this as factual, please, understand the immense danger of living a life, allowing thought to command the driving seat. We are no longer able to perceive a single thing, without memory distorting, dividing, and prejudicing our view.
We are not free any more, we are bound to our past experiences which limit and distort our perception.
Perception is the meeting of life freely, and perception is totally destroyed by these inner recorded images projected onto our living world from within. Legacy of school education and twelve years of memorising at a young age, our brains now find security in this life destroying inner psychological patterned approach. We find security in the past, and our pasts divide us.
We are destroying the potential of a life lived together in harmony in present communal perception of our shared world and communal existence. Void, of dividing images.
This world is the same for each of us, and we are all one people, though we certainly do divide. The root point of our division is our inner structured automatic process of thinking. Thought is responsible for every conflict we endure. Inwardly and outwardly.
Is there any hope for our race? Is there any hope that we may ever come to find a life of living in peace together, of caring for each other, of love for one another?
‘Hope’ is perhaps not the right word, for ‘hope’ refers to a future, and the future is nothing other than a learned concept, for all time is now.
It is only now we find anything tangible, the future is only an idea, and a divided idea between us, led into from limited past recordings, (thoughts), which each of us is allowing to provide unquestioned foundation to our lives.
Is there any possibility that we may come to live well as a race, and no longer in such pointless competition ever seeking to dominate the lives of others? If any possibility exists for us to come to such bliss, it will never be the outcome of our habitual thinking, for how can harmony in life arise from the very movement responsible for dividing us all and bring our lives to tears?
Notable is that thought, the educated, conditioned scholastic movement dominating our lives, is not understood by any of us. We carry vague mutterings gathered from the words of others, yet we have no direct first-hand understanding of the inner structure of what we collectively call human consciousness. We have no understanding then, of that which we are.
Of course, the mechanism of thinking, is an impossible approach to understand thinking. Thought is mere data. Derived from all past experiences. And data, is never complete, and understanding of anything, is only ever possible when all information has been seen. What is not seen, prevents complete understanding. Only perception is capable of such vision. Thought, is limited information, stored in the brain as knowledge, never complete, as there is always more to know, and so never capable of leading to understanding.
Can you bring awareness to your inner psychological nature of automated thinking? Can you begin to simply look within? Why is this important? If this is possible, which surely, it is, you are beginning to witness first-hand the inner mechanism of what leads the lives of humanity. And as humanity is in such a mess, has always been in such a mess, you are witnessing here the foundational inner movement of human divisive and limited consciousness, which has built this divisive war torn disgrace we collectively call a society.
In bringing awareness to the mechanical structure of thought, which must be choiceless, you are beginning to perceive the movements of your mechanical inner nature. You are bringing perception to the inner action of thinking. You are witnessing the root source of the movement which divides humanity. You are learning about that which limits our lives.
Such an awareness is extremely important because we never can arrive at a complete understanding of anything through thought, for thought is knowledge, limited data, limited to our collective past experiences in life. Perception, is free from such limitation. Perception sees, and in this action of direct seeing, understanding may come to life.
A life led form a foundation of understanding, has found a level of intelligence, inaccessible to mechanical thought.
We do not see the absolute danger of how we are living, chained to our past memories, all dividing between us, and so contributing to conflict and war between our people.
Perception may bring such awareness to life. It is in truth, the only thing which can.
Perception is the true source of intelligent life action. Choiceless perception brings awareness to life and choiceless awareness reveals the complete picture of what is being seen. In such a way, if we can bring choiceless perception to our conflicted and complex inner natures, we can come to an understanding of this inner automated structure, legacy of our brain corrupting school years.
Acting on thought is an abomination, for acting on thought is acting repetitively without seeing clearly. Acting on past memories reacting against or for what is being seen. Acting in limitation of the knowledge gathered from a past event.
This is not true action; it is a re-action.
Surely, action which is transformative to life, and so to society, is only found in free unlimited perception?
When a danger presents in life, the action is immediate, is it not?
If clearly seen.
When a bus careers towards us on a busy street, we need not take time to think about our predicament. We act immediately, without thinking, for we perceive the immediate danger. It is only when we do not understand the danger, that we come to harm’s way.
In a similar fashion to this, we are presently unaware of the danger our limited memory based thinking minds, divisive between us all, are representing communally to our lives. We are unaware of this, because we never look to ourselves and question, seeking understanding of our lives. We have not been educated to this.
Spend some time, alone with yourself. Spend time with this inner movement of conflicting words and images. Get to know this foundation, this driving force of your life, intimately, and come into a clear first understanding founded on perception of how this inner educated limited nature has forever broken our world, and so our lives, into pieces.
And look no further than our world today for verification of the destructive nature of acting unquestioningly on thought.
If it is possible to see clearly, without choice, the true impact our thinking brings to our lives, you will come to act.
As you do when any danger which presents to life.
You will act to remove your life from the source of the perceived danger. We remove our lives form perceived danger, immediately. Without question, and without limiting thought. We have never seen the danger to all our lives which this inner movement of collective educated, divisive thinking brings.
If we did, we would have removed ourselves by now from this danger, and be living today in a completely different world.
Hello to all, I am a 60 year old man who has spent the best part of his life studying the teachings of J.Krishnamurti. My name is Henryk. I am rather unimportant, although what I talk about on these pages, has great importance. Particularly today, in this dark world, led by men of infinite wealth, unfortunately without the intelligence to match. My work here stands on the shoulders of that of J.Krishnamurti. Without this man's passion and great life understanding, this website would never have existed. His effect on my own life has been immeasurable. A man of infinite vision and wisdom, who spent over 60 years of his life travelling the world and discussing life and societal problems. Krishnamurti passed away in the 1980s. Anyone interested in the nature of discussion in the content of this site, will likely find great interest in the work of Krishnamurti. Hundreds of videos may be found on YouTube. There is a link above dedicated to his work to which new content is planned to be regularly added. The beauty of truth in life, is that it is identical for each one of us. Truth is the place we all come to meet in unity. And truth belongs to no man. Only pointless opinions, divisive, traditional, educated into and gathered by us, may be claimed as ownership. The change in our world so desperately needed this day, is within us, not external to our lives. All man's actions begin in the area of human thinking, it is this needs understood and brought to revolution. Thanks for taking the time to visit, a few posts are being added to the site weekly at the moment, when I find time.
